Join Asia Art Archive in America for a Wikipedia Edit-a-thon in collaboration with Asia Art Archive, Hong Kong. The Edit-a-thon supports participants interested in editing Wikipedia to improve its coverage of women in the arts in Asia, and is part of an ongoing effort to contribute to discussions about the representation of women in open source knowledge platforms.

A tutorial for beginner Wikipedians will introduce the session and experienced Wikipedians will be available to help throughout. There are two main ways to contribute to the Edit-a-thon: improving existing articles and creating new ones. A list of suggested articles and topics will be provided, and relevant reference books and online resources will be made available. Please bring your laptop, power cord, and ideas for entries that need updating or creation. Further information is available on our Wikipedia Dashboard.
