Artists Against Anti-Asian Violence is part of CCC’s “We the Future” series of programming with artists and communities to combat hate, advocate for social equality, and empower change. This event is also the first of a series of solidarity events being organized by poets Chun Yu and Michael Warr through their Two Languages/One Community project.

The recent attacks on Asian elderly, murders of six Asian women among others in Georgia, and other recent anti-Asian hate crimes are a continuation of the ugly history of hatred and violence against Asians and other people of color that plagues America. We must take a strong stance in solidarity between communities and stand firmly against racism and hatred.
