Join MOCA and Carole Wong Chesek as she discusses her creative process, the inspiration behind her work, and her newly opened exhibition, Unearthing, featuring works in clay and mixed media that evoke the past and suggest the future, and are connected to specific experiences in the artist’s life.
About the Artist: Carole Wong Chesek has exhibited in solo, invitation and groups shows throughout the United States and has received awards for her sculptural work. She earned her MFA in Sculpture at Bard College, Annandale and completed graduate studies in Art Education at Montclair State University and Art History at NYU Institute of Fine Arts. She currently is an adjunct professor of Sculpture and Ceramics at Montclair State University and a ceramics instructor at the New Jersey Center for Visual Arts.
