Spanning from native and diaspora experimental filmmakers and artists from South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia and China, this program jumps in and out of urban objects and constructions, and attempts to connect the recent moving image practice in this region to the makers’ city life.

Featuring works by Aryo Danusiri (Indonesia), Phoebe Ching Ying Man (Hong Kong), Seo Bo​hyung (South Korea), ​and Shi Wenhua (China/USA). Total running time: 80 minutes

Q&A with Hattori via Skype, moderated by Xin Zhou
A recent completed project on the 2011 Tōhoku Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan, this program consists of 17 video works all in 3 minutes 11 seconds, a compilation of what the independent “EIZOU” artists experienced during and after the moment when the earthquake struck Tōhoku area. ​Total running time: 55 minutes
