The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) hosts a summer evening tour of three recent Department of Transportation (DOT) Urban Art Program commissions by alumni Tang-Wei Hsu (Taiwan), Jen Liu (USA), and Gabriela Galván (Mexico). The three site-specific installations will be on view for eleven months and are a component of ISCP’s Participatory Projects, supporting the work of ISCP artists-in-residence in the public realm. All proceeds support ISCP’s residenciesexhibitions and public programs.

This event will be a fun, casual way to learn about projects produced by ISCP in NYC. Attendees get a first-hand experience of the ISCP works being produced in conjunction with the DOT as well as an opportunity to speak with the artists.

Transportation will be provided from the meeting point in Chelsea to the Lower East Side and then from the LES to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. The tour will cover all three project sites as well as a concluding reception at Steiny’s Pub in Staten Island, a short walk from the final project site, where drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
