Triangle Arts Association was founded in 1982 and supports emerging and mid-career international and U.S. visual artists, encouraging dialogue and experimentation through residencies, workshops and public programs. Triangle runs two main initiatives: a year-round Artist Residency Program in Dumbo, Brooklyn as well as the biennial Triangle Artists’ Workshop. Both programs pair international artists with their U.S. colleagues, creating a unique environment for exchange and creative experimentation.
