Gryphon Rue is a multimedia artist and composer. Recent work includes North of the Future with Merche Blasco (Astral Editions, 2021), an imminent untitled solo album (Not Not Fun, 2022) and a collection of reinterpretations of North of the Future by sound artists (Tigersushi, 2022). Rue is the author of Strange Attractor (Inventory Press & Ballroom Marfa, 2019), exploring the uncertainties and poetics of networks, environmental events, and sound. Rue is a member of the audiovisual duo Rue Bainbridge, and the duo Vertical Foliage (Love is a Grasshopper Nearby, CAMP Editions, 2019). Rue hosts Earmark on Montez Press Radio. Their films are available through The Film-Makers’ Cooperative.
