AAAinA maintains a non-circulating Reading Room collection that is open to the public free of charge. This collection comprises over 5000 monographs, exhibition catalogues, reference books, periodicals, and audio-visual materials about contemporary art from and of Asia. The Reading Room also serves as an onsite access point to the over 55,000 digitized records of primary source material from AAA’s digital research collection, including photographs, letters, writing, ephemera, and video documentation.
The AAAinA Reading Room is open to the public Tuesdays through Fridays, 10:00am-5:00pm and by appointment on Mondays. While walk-ins are accepted, we recommend making an appointment by emailing info@aaa-a.org to ensure that a staff member will be available to assist you. Wi-Fi, a scanner, and a photocopier are available onsite.
