Shrines invites sixteen Filipino and Filipino diaspora artists to showcase their unique interpretations of what a shrine can be, encompassing various forms that evoke references to environments, symbols, honor, and remembrance. The participating artists will showcase paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures that resonate with the concept of shrines, influenced by their individual artistic approaches.These shrines serve as portals for individuals attuned to the interconnectedness of human and non-human ecologies.
