For Your Convenience is a publication that explores Korean convenience culture through food, design, and architecture. Edited by Emily Priest and published by Common Imprint in Berlin, it brings together essays from architect-writers, a curator, and chefs reflecting on the history and present of South Korea’s convenience culture. The publication centers on SABA Convenience Store, a temporary renovation project by Of Architecture on Kensington High Street in London. SABA introduces Korean convenience elements—like Hangang Ramen—to West London, and serves as a case study in cultural translation. Alongside these texts, photographs by Max Creasy document SABA’s space and atmosphere. The publication also includes a brief history of noodles and selected Korean recipes, offering a multifaceted look at the meaning of convenience today.
