This booklet serves an introduction to a recently established organisation Video Bureau. Founded in March 2013 in Beijing and later on opening an office in Guangzhou, Video Bureau as a private non-profit organisation specialises in documenting video art. By creating a record that contains thorough information of an artist and his/her video work(s), including not only the works themselves but also other relevant data such as texts, photographs, exhibition history and other type of documentation, Video Bureau offers a platform on which research in video art could be facilitated. It aims to collect information of 12 artists per annum.

As up to this publication, it currently has created records for 13 artists, all of whom are Chinese.
