Artist, composer, activist and philanthropist, Yoko Ono’s many facets come together in Insound and Instructure, one of her most ambitious exhibitions, which opens in November 2025 at the MUSAC in León (Spain).

The exhibition offers a journey through her artistic career from the 1960s to the present day and provides a unique opportunity to revisit some of her most significant contributions in the fields of performance, installation, experimental film and conceptual art. The works on show, created between 1964 and 2013, reflect a philosophy of life that runs through her entire artistic practice, based on imagination, thought, process, participation and human connection.

In her work, objects, texts, sounds, performances and films are combined in multiple ways with the aim of expanding the boundaries of what art can be, as well as questioning the very notions of exhibition and museum.
