The 47th Asian American International Film Festival runs from August 1-11, 2024 and features a captivating array of films that delve into themes of love, relationships, and grief. The festival opens with a screening of Nobuko Miyamoto: A Song in Movement (directed by Tadashi Nakamura and Quyên Nguyen-Le) and closes with The Queen of My Dreams (directed by Fawzia Mirza), for which A/P/A Institute is a community partner.
In addition to in-person and virtual screenings, the festival will feature panels, receptions, and VIP events, providing unique opportunities to connect with industry professionals and fellow film enthusiasts.
